Game of Thrones, Hector, Badge of carnage (5/12/11)

It’s been a very hectic past couple of months with working on season 2 ‘Game of Thrones’ and helping complete the latest two instalments of ‘Hector, badge of carnage’.  I can finally get round to updating the site.  Below is a couple of links to help give a idea of the work i've been doing.

Game of Thrones (16/5/11)

Recently finished working on series one of HBO’s Game of Thrones. My roles consisted of,

On-set visual effects coordinator - 10 episodes,
Post production visual effects data coordinator - 10 episodes,
Rotoscope artist: Screen Scene - 5 episodes.

GOt

As well as jumping head first into Nuke at Screen Scene I also completed a number of Pre-vis shots using Maya and After Effects.

About the show
Game of Thrones is a new original HBO series based on George R.R. Martin’s best-selling novels. In a world where summers span decades and winters can last a lifetime, the Westeros crown comes with a price. Betrayal, lust, intrigue and supernatural forces shake the four corners of the Kingdom, from the scheming south and the savage eastern lands, to the frozen north and the ancient Wall that protects the realm from the darkness beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and noble men vie for power in the bloody struggle for the Iron Throne.

Hector hits the App store with a big bang!!! (3/6/10)

Hector, badge of carnage has hit the app store with great success. Heres just a few things people had been saying about it so far.

WOW: Funny, irreverent, and sporting the most intuitive point and click touch interface I've encountered. Art is top notch and the writing is hilarious. Buy this now!!

THIS GAME IS FABULOUS: Looooooove it. It's challenging and funny and a boon for adventure game lovers. Props to the developers; I want more! And I'm not even done.

HYSTERICAL: This has to win an award for the most hysterical game on the app store. Incredibly well made and totally awesome.

TRULY EXCELLENT ORIGINAL IPHONE ADVENTURE GAME: Really very impressive game. This deserves great success, the care which has been taken is obvious and the visuals combined with the humour make this a must purchase for any fan of point-and-click adventure games (with a strong stomach:)
Fans of Sam and Max or Day of the Tentacle will need to pick this up immediately.

Hector: Fat Arse of the Law, Badge of Carnage iApp (1/6/10)

The first iApp I worked on but the second to be released is set for release 2nd of June (tomorrow). Having produced 99% of the animation i very much look forward to getting my hands on the final game and strongly urge you to go buy it!!

Labelled a crime spoof, it puts you in the shoes of flawed, misanthropic detective inspector Hector, who's hot on the trail of police murders in Clappers Wreake, the most violent city in Britain.

Driven by cigarettes, alcohol and amazingly bad breath, Hector has to solve puzzles and unlock mini-games, plus there are loads of cinematic cutscenes to keep you interesting in the other bizarre characters who populate his mean little world.
